The historic (1936 -1939) Red Buses are both a symbol of Glacier National Park and a reminder of a time when adventurous travel was done with style and grace. Our vintage touring coach drivers are called "Jammers" by the locals; a name which carries over from the days when the buses had standard transmissions and the drivers could be heard "jamming" the gears as they drove up and down the rugged mountain highway.
On each tour, adventure awaits as a Jammer picks you up at your preselected origin and welcomes you onboard the same way Jammers have done for over 90 years with the "roll call". Once on board, you will enjoy the bus- unique canvas top, which rolls back allowing all 17 passengers a commanding view of the spectacular scenery within Glacier National Park. The following tours depart from the Belton Chalet. Inquire at our Front Desk for reservations.
